Edison Research Election Jobs

Edison Research is looking for political science students to report election results for the upcoming VA General Election on Tuesday, November 2nd. Edison Research is the firm that collects the vote totals on Election Night for the National Election Pool, which consists of ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC.

The job would require an individual to report to a local County Elections Office and call in to their offices to report the vote totals as they are released on Election Night. There are several convenient locations in and around the Spotsylvania County area. The job would be for Election Night only, on the evening of Tuesday, November 2nd. The position pays $85.00. Any punctual and responsible individual would be a good fit for this position!
Edison Research also conducts the National Exit Poll on Election Day. They have several Exit Pollster and interviewer positions available throughout the area. This position pays 275$ for a full day of interviewing. Exit pollsters would go to an assigned polling location from poll-open to poll-close (6am-7pm) and ask voters if they would like to take a short, confidential survey for the news. A few times throughout the day Exit Pollsters would call their results into the office.
