Member of Chi Beta Phi, Mortar Board, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars; Co-Chair of Membership for Mortar Board; Publicity Chair of Giant Productions. Favorite Courses: Modern Geometry, Coding and Cryptography, Abstract Algebra I & II Memorable Experiences in the Classroom: Hearing professors tell stories from their own times in college, internships, and first jobs. Memorable Experiences Outside the Classroom: Going to and helping host on-campus events, such as the Passion Pit & Matt and Kim concert. Why Should Somebody Study Mathematics at UMW? The math department is really strong, and studying at UMW gives you a unique opportunity to focus on math while still being able to pursue other interests in other subjects. Plus, UMW is close to Dahlgren, which is a great place to intern over the summer and throughout the school year. |
