Since 1913 the Department of Theatre & Dance has prepared its majors to enter both professional theatre and the world beyond. Our program allows students flexibility in concentrating in areas of greatest interest while building a strong foundation through a liberal arts education. Our major utilizes the resources of the university and the art epicenters of Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C. We invite you to discover theatre and dance at the University of Mary Washington.
