Lab Aides (located in Mercer 317)

 

Hi everyone! I’m Nicole Altenberg and I am super excited to be a Lab Aide for the Psychology Department! I am a senior Psychology and Women and Gender Studies major from Mount Laurel, NJ! On-campus, I am also the President of the Performing Arts Company, and a Student Alumni Ambassador. After UMW, I hope to attend graduate school to pursue a degree in clinical psychology and I am super interested in dance therapy!

 

Hi everyone! My name is Armon Barnes and I am a senior at Mary Wash. I am very excited to be a Psych Rep! I hope that when I graduate from Mary Wash I will be able to go to graduate school and pursue a masters degree and then a PhD. I really enjoy playing sports on campus like basketball and volleyball, and I am also involved with the James Farmer Multicultural Center as a student worker and Student Coordinator for the Farmer Fellows Diversity Peer Educator Program. My name is Rob Oehler, I use He/Him pronouns, and I am a Junior Psych Major and Contemplative Studies Minor. I am aiming for a Ph.D. in Clinical psychology with a focus on mindfulness interventions and 3rd wave behavioral therapies. I’ve been engaged on campus in the Presidential Emerging Leaders Program (PELP) and the UMW Buddhist Student Sangha (BSS). Some fun facts include I took a gap year of service in 2020 with AmeriCorps NCCC, I have two pets, love folk and punk music, and enjoy meditating outside. Hi! My name is Anastasia Zanyuk. I’m majoring in English: creative writing and minoring in computer science. I enjoy writing, reading, and watching movies. I love heist movies like Now You See Me and Ocean’s 11. I dance in PAC and the K-pop dance club. And I’m also a Digital Knowledge Center consultant and the Aubade Literary Magazine staff member.
