Hi! My name is Nicole Altenberg, but people usually just call me Niki 🙂 I am a senior this year majoring in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with an Applied Statistics Minor. When I am not in Mercer, you can usually find me at the Hillel building or in the dance studios in Goolrick hall. Besides being a Pysch Stats tutor, I am also president of the Performing Arts Company (PAC) and I serve as a Student Alumni Ambassador. Outside of school, I love to go to the beach with friends and family and play with my three cats, Emmy, Skittles, and Milli! I am really excited to be a stats tutor this year and cannot wait to meet some of you during tutoring hours!

Hello! My name is Renée Leger, and I am one of the Psych Stats tutors this year. I’m a psychology major hoping to pursue either clinical or IO psychology in graduate school, and I am one of the current co-presidents of Psi Chi. I spend most of my free time reading, writing, playing guitar, and listening to music. I have a cat named Kit-Cat at home who is often subjected to my attempts at singing along to the aforementioned music. Come visit during my hours for any statistics help. I promise you will not be subjected to the same singing!
Caitlin O’Leary (firstname.lastname@example.org) in Academic Services, HCC (Fourth Floor)
Caitlin provides tutoring for Introductory and Advanced Statistics as well as Research Methods in Psychology and General Psychology
- Sunday, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Tuesday, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Students can schedule appointments via the Academic Services, or directly though the EAB Navigate site. Students will have the option to select an in-person or virtual appointment. It is preferred that students schedule in-person; both parties have found this to be a more effective way of learning. Students should bring their course materials to appointments.
Hi! My name is Caitlin O’Leary and I am a senior psychology major on the pre-PA track. I tutor Introductory Statistics for Psychology, Advanced Statistics for Psychology, and Research Methods through Academic Services on the 4th floor of the HCC. In addition to being a peer tutor, I am also a member of the Women’s Lacrosse team here at UMW. Outside of school, I enjoy working out, going to the beach, and being around friends/family! I hope to see you at tutoring!
