Co-president: Mackenzie Murphy
Hi! My name is Mackenzie Murphy (she/her) and I am one of the co-presidents for our UMW Psi Chi chapter! I am a psychology major with a minor in contemplative studies. After UMW I plan to study clinical psychology in grad school with hopes of becoming a therapist for adolescents. Around campus you can often finding me with New Student Programs, lifting in the gym, or hanging out with friends. I’m looking forward to a great year!
Co-president: Jessica Ooley
Hi, my name is Jessica (Jess) Ooley (she/her) and I am the other Co-President of the Psi Chi UMW chapter! I am a double major in psychology and English. When not fulfilling my duties as a Psi Chi officer, I like to read novels, make Spotify playlists, hit the gym, and volunteer with COAR! After UMW, I’m considering attending grad school and studying towards a PhD, but I’m not totally sure yet! So far, I’m really enjoying being a Psi Chi officer, and I’m looking forward to making this a great year for our chapter!
Secretary: Anne Nolen
Hi! My name is Anne Nolen (any pronouns) and I am the secretary for the UMW Psi Chi Chapter. I am a psychology and women’s, gender and sexuality studies major. After UMW, I plan to pursue grad school for clinical psychology, with a focus in eating behavior. Around campus, you can find me working with New Student Programs, leading tours with admissions, and serving as an honor council representative for the class of 2028. I am so excited to have a great year with Psi Chi!
Treasurer: Paulo Resende-Tovar
Hello! My name is Paulo (he/him). am a dual Psychology and Communication & Digital Studies major. I am the treasurer for our UMW Psi Chi chapter. I am also one of the statistics tutors for psychology. I like to try new food, whether that’s using new recipes, experimenting in the kitchen, or trying one of the restaurants around town.
