Co-president: Leah Nguyen
Hi everyone! My name is Leah (she/her), and I am one of the co-presidents of our Psi Chi chapter at UMW. I am a senior majoring in psychology, with a minor in business administration. After UMW, I am interested in pursuing graduate school and plan to either become a BCBA or a school counselor. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, playing with my French Bulldog, and spending time outdoors. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year!
Co-president: Destiny Pacchelli
Hey guys! My name is Destiny (they/them) and I am the co-president of the UMW chapter of Psi Chi! I am a psychology major in the honors program graduating in Spring 2026. After my bachelor’s, I hope to get into a Ph.D. clinical psychology program, with the hope of working with LGBTQ+ individuals. I have also worked for New Student Programs since I was a sophomore, as an FSEM Peer Mentor and NEST Coordinator, helping the incoming new students adjust to college life. I’m usually running around in SAE or around Mercer if you’re looking for me!
Secretary: Janmeet Gujral
Hi! My name is Janmeet (she/they) and I am the secretary of our Psi Chi chapter. I am majoring in psychology and minoring in contemplative studies. I am hoping to go into a clinical studies Ph.D. program after I graduate. I am also a lab aide for the department, so feel free to say hi if you see me running around or in the lab aide office! I love to bake, crochet, pet cats, and spend time with my loved ones. I’m looking forward to serving our chapter and meeting everyone!
Treasurer: Morgan Crabtree
Hello everyone! My name is Morgan (she/they) and I am the treasurer of UMW Psi Chi! I am a junior double majoring in psychology and sociology. I am not certain of my path after graduation, but I’m planning on eventually becoming either a psychologist or a researcher. I am also the treasurer for JADE, the Japanese animation and dramatic entertainment club! You can usually find me around Mercer or in Monroe. I am looking forward to having an amazing year with you all!
