The Department of Psychological Science’s Experiential Learning major requirement may be fulfilled by completing:
- Forty hours of Community Service Learning
- Obtaining an Internship
- Participating in a research team (PSYC 491 and 492)
Completing one of the above options meets the University of Mary Washington’s College of Arts and Sciences’ General Education Requirement for Experiential Learning also.
Other Experiential Learning opportunities available to students are:

- URES 197 – Undergraduate Research
