Pi Sigma Alpha, the national honor society for Political Science students, hosts an annual conference highlighting student research. UMW Political Science students Maya Jenkins and Mary-Elise Alworth presented their research at its 2023 conference.
Joey Zeldin, a Political Science major, presented his research at the 2023 Network for Undergraduate Research in Virginia (NURVa) at Christopher Newport University. Joey presented his senior thesis, “Hollywood, Heinz Field, and the Hill: Analyzing Celebrities and Amateurs in Congressional Elections.”
