In October, Dr.Amrita Dhar traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the 4th annual Vietnam Symposium in Global Economic Issues. The symposium is sponsored by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts and the Ho Chi Minh University of Banking. Dr.Dhar presented her paper, “Central Bank Communications and International Capital Flows” which looks at text mining techniques to estimate central bank sentiment and its impact on intentional capital flows.
