#MaryWashDay Is Back April 5th, 2022
Mary Wash Giving Day (#MaryWashDay) is a 24-hour online day of giving to the University of Mary Washington. Back for its third year, it will take place Tuesday, April 5th, 2022. Mark your calendar and bookmark givingday.umw.edu to be part of the excitement!
We have set an ambitious goal for our third annual #MaryWashDay: $5,000 in one day to honor UMW’s Economics department. Together, we can make it the single largest day of fundraising in the University’s history, all to benefit Mary Washington students and programs.
UMW Economics alum, Colin Jennings ’13, has created the Rycroft Economics Department Match, where all gifts made to the Economics Department on Giving Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500 in honor of his professor and mentor Dr. Rycroft. Make your gift early to the economics department to have your gift doubled! On April 5th 2022, click on the “Area of Support” drop down and select “College of Arts and Sciences”. Then click on “Fund Designation” where you will be able to select Economics Department as your gift designation from a drop-down menu.
We can’t do it without you. Here’s how you can help:
- Sign up to be a Giving Day Ambassador.
- Spread the word with #AllinforUMW.
