Jason Arnold (Lighting Design) has worked with the University of Mary Washington since 2011, designing lights for Fun Home, Little Shop of Horrors, Merrily We Roll AlongThe Mystery of Edwin Drood, Avenue Q, Sunday in the Park with George, Spring Awakening, Into the Woods, and Rent.  He first designed lights in Klein Theatre for the Fredericksburg Theatre Company (1998-2001); some of his favorite designs included The Secret Garden, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Forever Plaid, and Little Shop of Horrors.  Mr. Arnold has designed for many DC area theatres, including Arena Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre, Studio Theatre, Imagination Stage, Rep Stage, Adventure Theatre, Constellation Theatre, Forum Theatre, MetroStage, and NextStop Theatre.  He has also designed for regional theatres, Hartford Stage, Philadelphia Theatre Company, and Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Off Broadway.  Mr. Arnold teaches at American University and lives in Takoma Park, MD with his wife and twin 5th graders.
