UMW senior and International Affairs major Julia Gibbons presented her undergraduate Honors Thesis, “Female Secondary School Stipend Programs in Bangladesh and Pakistan,” at the 2019 Pi Sigma Alpha (PSA) National Student Research Conference. Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society, hosted its annual conference in from February 15-17 2019 at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Julia is the 2018-2019 President of the Kappa Upsilon chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha at UMW. She is also the Department’s student aide and President of the International Relations and Model United Nations Organization.
