Monroe Closure: Sp24 Office Changes

February 13, 2024 by hparedes Leave a Comment

Hello everyone. As you have all heard, unfortunately, Monroe Hall is closed for this Spring 2024 semester. Many classes and offices have been relocated as a result. Please refer to your Spring 2024 class schedule in Banner for the updated location of your class and check with your professor.

Our PSIA professors’ offices have either been moved to 1201 William Street (“the Mansion”) or Combs Hall. Below we are providing the locations for the PSIA offices and professor (and aide) office hours. Directions to the Mansion are also provided at the bottom of the page.

Please note that some professors are holding office hours in other locations than their relocated office. To meet a professor at other times than those listed, please send an email to the professor. Students should contact the professors for a meeting link for online meeting times.

1201 William Street Directions (the Mansion)

For those unaware of where the Mansion is (#52 on campus map), it is close to Combs Hall and right next to the Econ House (#51 on campus map).

The Mansion is located at the intersection of College Ave (city side) and William Street, but please note that the front entrance is normally closed. To enter the Mansion, you have to enter the back entrance (ADA accessible), which is behind Econ House, and is open during regular academic hours to everyone.

To find the back entrance, go to the intersection of College Ave and Buckner Street where you will see Econ House and a handicapped parking zone. Go to the handicapped parking zone, then go around Econ House; on this path you will get to the back entrance of the Mansion.

Another way to get to the back entrance is through a small semi-paved stone path close to the Mansion’s side entrance.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Professor Cooperman or at our Instagram @umwpsia.
