Join Virginia21 to learn about Virginia state policy! Some activities include a luncheon in the fall where participants get to meet the governor, and a conference in the spring where participants learn about state policy. As members of Virginia21, you can work with UMW Votes if you want to, to learn more about voter registration and voter mobilization. And/or you can do other civic engagement activities.
There are opportunities with UMW Votes where students can gain their BTC gen ed and earn academic credit as well. Also, there are a few paid fellowships that students may qualify for. Check out Virginia21 and UMW Votes to learn more!
