Clubs and Organizations

Earth and Environmental Sciences students and faculty are active across the campus.  Some organizations that you might be interested in joining:

 

UMW’s Ecology Club , also known as the Eco Club, is one of the oldest and most active student organizations on campus.  They are involved in environmental clean-ups, recycling programs, and  host of other activities, and are always welcoming new members.

 

The ECO-REPS are a student-led volunteer advocacy group within UMW’s Office of Sustainability.

 

BEAM (or Better Energy Awareness and Mobilization) is the student group most active in advocating for energy conservation and renewable energy on campus.  They are always happy to welcome new members!
