Feb 22 Event: Dr. Jacobs (’11) Discusses the Democrats’ Relationship with Rural America

Flyer of the event with information.On Thursday, Feb 22nd at 4 PM in Lee Hall 411, PSIA Alum Dr. Nicholas Jacobs (’11), an assistant professor of government at Colby College, will be leading a talk about “How Democrats Can Win Back Rural America (and why they try)” related to his co-authored book The Rural Voter.

Everyone is welcome to join him to learn about the lack of political competition in American rural areas, the misconceptions of these rural areas, and the consequences this has for the Democratic Party and rural America.
