Monroe Hall has two computer laboratories (Monroe 114 and Monroe 320) and a physical geography lab (Monroe 319). A movable wall separates 319 and 320: together, they are referred to as the Cartography Lab and are the heart of our department!
We want students to be able to use these spaces. If you are registered for a geography course, your Eagle One card should give you access to Monroe Hall through the accessible door at the back of the building toward Lee Hall; it should also give access to each of the three laboratories, 24/7. If your card does not work, please contact the chair.
In order for students to be able to work in these labs when no classes are scheduled, we provide the schedule of classes: these are times to avoid, you cannot work in a lab while it is being used. A graphic version of the schedule is hung outside each door: you can take a photo! Occasionally, the schedule changes and a faculty member will ask you to leave, or a student meeting may be scheduled.
