Only three years after establishing our College of Arts and Sciences Beyond the Classroom Endowment, we have already begun to make a big impact in the student experience at Mary Washington. This past spring and summer ten CAS students with majors in diverse fields from Historic Preservation to Computer Science put their classroom learning into action in summer internship funded by the Beyond the Classroom Endowment. They were:

- Dayton Keffer (Psychology, Communication and Digital Studies ’24) Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation
- Thomas Inscoe (Political Science ’26) Senator Tim Kaine Regional Office
- Katie VanHouten (Sociology, Communication and Digital Studies -26) Rinehart Bryant PLLC Law Firm
- Ann Swann (Computer Science ’24) Naval Surface Warfare Center – Dahlgren Division
