Book Prize Lecture

The Center for Historic Preservation is thrilled to announce that Marta Gutman, the winner of the 2015 Historic Preservation Book Prize, will be giving a lecture on her book on September 22nd. A City for Children; Women, Architecture, and the Charitable Landscapes of Oakland, 1850-1950 follows the progression of social history, urban planning, and architecture in the city of Oakland for a century. The lecture is free and open to the public.
