This is a preliminary but key step to the construction of Digital Elevation Models (DEMS) and 3D modeling in GIS that is not typically covered by standard GIS or remote sensing courses. LiDAR technology has a wide range of applications, and in the past has been a gateway for UMW GIS/GEOG post graduation employment in government and industry. You do not need to have prior knowledge of LiDAR, you will be trained on the job.
