The National Park Transportation Scholars Program is a unique year long National Parks program for transportation specialists. This program will allow transportation professionals, as well as master’s and doctoral candidates in the fields of transportation, engineering, and planning, the opportunity to work with the Park Service in developing transportation solutions to preserve their resources and enhance the visitor experience. Assignments start in late June and will last for twelve months afterward. Members of the scholar program will be reimbursed for travel expenditures and stipend $50,000.
