Did you hear? The Lewis Store is having an open house on October 5th from 6-9pm to show off their Vintage Route 1 Timeline Exhibit and let the public know what the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation Inc. (HFFI) has planned for the coming months. For those of you not in the know, the Lewis store is one of the oldest surviving retail buildings in the United states, constructed in 1749 by Fielding Lewis. The store is located on 1200 Caroline Street and light refreshments will be served so be sure to stop by and check it out!
