EJY Publishes in Health Communication Journal

Dr. Elizabeth Johnson-Young recently had her essay “Predicting Intentions to Breastfeed for Three Months, Six Months, and One Year Using the Theory of Planned Behavior and Body Satisfaction” published online in the journal Health Communication: https://www.tandfonline.com/eprint/icCiTHb9tKmyJy6b4JT3/full. The essay will also appear in the print version coming in the next edition of the journal.

Dr. Johnson-Young Wins Prize for Conference Paper

Congratulations to Professor Johnson-Young! She presented the paper “Uses and Gratifications during Pregnancy and Their Impact on Breastfeeding Intentions” at the Eastern Communication Association’s annual conference. The paper was also awarded top paper in the Theory and Methodology Division of the conference.

Professor Rao Publishes New Work

Dr. Anand Rao has recently published a piece called “Strategies for Assessment in Communication Centers: Perspectives from Across the Field,” which was co-authored with three colleagues at other schools, in the new Communication Center Journal, available at  http://commcenters.org/content/05-journal/communication-center-journal-vol-1.pdf
