Student Spotlight: Khaila Nelson

Khaila Nelson is currently a senior working on completing a double major in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Over the course of the Spring 2020 semester, Nelson has spent part of her time interning with the Department of Social Services in Stafford, VA in the Foster Care division. This internship takes place through the Stafford County Government. Click here to read more.

UMW Senior Does Groundbreaking Autism and Gender Research

At UMW, Ren Koloni has conducted groundbreaking research into the intersections between queerness and autism, as well as discourse in the transgender community. UMW Announces Recipient of Citizenship and Diversity Award
