Former Student Launches as a Linguist

Congratulations to Sylvia Sierra! She was a UMW special major in linguistics major graduate from 2008 who earned her Ph.D. in linguistics at Georgetown in August 2016. She is now a tenure-track assistant professor teaching discourse analysis in the Communication & Rhetorical Studies Department at Syracuse University.
