Mathur Publishes Book Chapter

Professor of English Maya Mathur recently published a book chapter “Intersectionality, Inclusion and the Shakespeare Survey Course” in Inclusive Shakespeares: Identity, Pedagogy, Performance, edited by Sonia Freeman Loftis, Mardy Philippian, and Justin P. Shaw (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023).

Haffey to Serve on Journal Editorial Board

Associate Professor of English Kate Haffey was recently invited to serve a three-year term on the editorial board for the journal WSQ (Women’s Studies Quarterly). The journal focuses on the interdisciplinary field of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and has been in publication since 1972.

Foss Presents Paper on Wilde

On October 8, Professor of English Chris Foss presented a paper entitled “‘The secret of life is suffering’: Oscar Wilde’s De Profundis as Hard Times Survival Guide” at the Victorians Institute annual meeting, held this year in Raleigh, NC.
