Volunteering Opportunity at the Valentine Richmond History Center

The Valentine Richmond History Center (http://www.richmondhistorycenter.com/) is about to reopen a renovated facility that has been worked on for a couple of years. The inauguration events will take place during the third week in October and include parties and celebrations for which the museum is looking for volunteers to help primarily with crowd control and passing out programs.

If you are interesting in getting some volunteer/events experience please contact Marisa Day, Assistant Director of Public Programs at

mday at richmondhistorycenter dot com or p. 804.649.0711 ext 317.

It should be a really fun experience, plus an opportunity to dress up and get a sneak peak at the renovations.
