Fall 2014 Internships – Valentine Richmond History Center

The Valentine Richmond History Center is currently accepting applications for the following Fall 2014 unpaid internships (click internship to download the job description):

Community Conversations Intern

Development Intern

Museum Store Merchandising Intern

Social Media Intern

Deadline for Fall Internships is August 1, 2014

Unpaid internships are available year-round for undergraduate and graduate students interested in receiving course credit for hands on museum experience. Recent graduates looking for hands-on experience or should consider applying to volunteer with the History Center. Want to know what its like to have an internship at the Valentine? Check out a recent fall intern’s take on her experiences here!

To apply for a General Internship: Send a completed internship application along with your resume, cover letter, unofficial transcript and one letter of recommendation to to the Assistant Director of Education. Your cover letter should include three departments of interest, and how an internship at the Valentine Richmond History Center will impact your future career and/or academic goals.

Letters of recommendation may be emailed to the Assistant Director of Education or mailed to the Valentine Richmond History Center:
