The University of Mary Washington Center of Economic Education partakes in the Stock Market Game (SMG) through the Virginia Counsel of Economic Education. The Stock Market Game is a game that teaches younger students (grades 4-12) how to save/invest using stocks/bonds. During the game students compete by investing $100,000 in an online portfolio. The Stock Market Game also helps introduce students to the world of economics.
