Eagle Lake Outpost
The University of Mary Washington owns roughly 400 acres in southern Stafford County, approximately 20 minutes from its main campus in Fredericksburg. This property includes mature hardwood forest, old field, a natural (and active!) beaver pond, and two streams. Eagle Lake Outpost is its main facility, with equipment storage and sheltered work space for small groups of research and field course students.
