Information for Alumni
All detailed program information is available to enrolled students via Canvas. As alumni, if you no longer have a network ID and cannot login to Canvas, you can gain access to the same information by emailing the Pre-Health Advisor, Professor Deborah O’Dell at dodell@umw.edu and requesting detailed program information. When you do, please identify yourself, and the semester you graduated. I will follow-up by getting a copy of the information to you. Meeting either in person in the Center for Career and Professional Development or virtually by Zoom is also an option.
Please indicate the Healthcare pathway you are interested in. Alumni can also review requirements for the programs of interest by searching for specific program pages at educational institutions or professional organizations using the internet prior to contacting the Pre-Health Advisor
If you are an alumni seeking a committee letter of recommendation from the PreMed/PreDent Advisory committee, be sure to contact the Pre-Health Advisor by Nov 15 prior to the application cycle opening. If you have graduated more than 3 years ago, the Pre-health Advisor may not be able to offer a committee letter, but will still be able to assist you with information, resume review, personal statement review and with your application.
