Stafford will study slavery locations
University of Mary Washington Historic Preservation professor Douglas Sanford will spearhead an effort to study slavery locations in Stafford County, Virginia. This work will be conducted with support from the University of Mary Washington Center for Historic Preservation as well as funds from Stafford County which were obtained as part of a Virginia Department of Historic Resources grant.
