Co-president: Christine Wehner

Hi everyone! My name is Christine Wehner and I’m a Co-President of Psi Chi! I’m a senior majoring in psychology and Women and Gender studies and minoring in English. After getting my undergrad degree, I want to go on to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and one day focus on studying and treating the effects of trauma in children and LGBTQ+ youth. In addition to psychology, I’m involved in a myriad of activities, including Chi Alpha campus ministry and an internship at Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center. Additionally, I’m fascinated by studying the intricacies of the Bible and biblical history. I also love Tae Kwon Do, which I have a black belt in, and skiing. I am loving being part of Psi Chi leadership because I’ve had such an overwhelmingly positive experience with the psychology department here at UMW, and the chance to get more involved and give back some has been such a blessing! Feel free to reach out and say hi if you have any thoughts, questions, or just want to connect!
