Megan Jacobs – Co-President
My name is Megan Jacobs, and I am one of the Psi Chi Co-Presidents this year! I am a senior psychology major, and I love being active in the department. This is my second year being a Psychology Student Representative, as well as the department’s Participant Pool Coordinator! In addition to being a member of Psi Chi, I am also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In my spare time, I binge-watch Netflix/Hulu and watch cute videos of dogs! After graduation, I hope to attend an Occupational Therapy program and obtain a specialization in Neurological diseases/disorders.
Kristen Kunaniec – Co-President
My name is Kristen Kunaniec and I am a senior psychology major and business administration minor. I am on the women’s lacrosse team and president of Mortar Board honor society. When I am not playing lacrosse or busy on campus I enjoy spending time with family and friends and watching Game of Thrones.
Erin Shaw – Secretary
Hi! I’m Erin Shaw, and I am a senior and your Psi Chi secretary for this year. I served as the Social Media Chair last year, and I’m happy to be back on board! I am the president of PRISM, or People for the Rights of Individuals of Sexual and Gender Minorities, a Safe Zone trainer, a Lab Aide, and the recipient of the Citizenship Award for Diversity Leadership for this year. So if you ever want to get a message out about diversity and inclusion, I’m the person to talk to! You can usually find me around Mercer Hall doing homework or something PRISM-related.
Chloe Morton – Treasurer
My name is Chloe Morton and I am a senior chemistry and psychology double major! I have participated in almost all dance groups on campus and am involved in most of the multicultural clubs! I enjoy being busy and running around to do things, I volunteer at local elementary and middle schools to help tutor students in reading and math, and I work on campus as a PASS leader for general chemistry! I also enjoy traveling and have an international family!
Hina Zafar – Social Media Chair
Hello! My name is Hina Zafar and I am senior here at UMW. I love dancing, baking, going on adventures and spending time with my family and friends. Here on campus I am a member of the Performing Arts Company, UMW Dance Team, Students Helping Honduras, Psi Chi, and Mortar Board. I have not yet decided what exactly I am doing after college, but I hope to work in the field of social work and/or law. I am very excited to be Psi Chi’s Social Media Chair and cannot wait to see what this year holds!
Leslie Lozano – Fundraising Chair
I will be serving as fundraising chair and I am looking forward to an eventful, fun year. I am a senior and enjoy traveling, getting together with my family, games, cooking, and being outside. Reach out to me for power cards (discounts from local businesses) and I would love to hear creative ideas on how Psi Chi can get involved in supporting our community.
