Leah Tams (History, UMW Class of 2014) is interning this summer at the Smithsonian Institution Archives. Her work lies in the Institutional History Division, which is a public history office that focuses on the history of the Smithsonian itself. She assists the Institutional History Division with the various projects that they are working on this summer. These projects include: exhibits, public programs, processing oral history collections, preparing new web pages, digitizing collections, and adding information to the History of the Smithsonian catalog.
Leah is also current president of UMW’s division of the National History Honors Society, Phi Alpha Theta. She’ll be returning to campus this fall for her senior year.
