The department of Classics, Philosophy, and Religion regretfully announced that due to the effects of Winter Storm Jonas the 2016 Jefferson Lecture has been cancelled. As of now and unless otherwise indicated, the lecture will not be rescheduled.
And on January 26, 2016, at 7:30 PM, we will host Professor M. Andrew Holowchak, editor of the recent anthology Thomas Jefferson and Political Philosophy, for our Jefferson Lecture, on the topic “Jefferson and Jesus,” which will also be free and open to the public. For more information, see here.
