Since 1913 the Department of Theatre & Dance has prepared its majors to enter both professional theatre and the world beyond. Our program allows students flexibility in concentrating in areas of greatest interest while building a strong foundation through a liberal arts education. Our major utilizes the resources of the university and the art epicenters of Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
