10th Annual UMW in SPAIN Summer Program

Dates: June 24–July 27, 2012

Costs according to Programs:

• Program 1: Spanish Studies

$4,875 + Airfare

• Program 2: Interdisciplinary Studies

$5,275 + Airfare

Deadlines for Programs 1 & 2:

• $600 deposit by January 15, 2012 due in Cashier’s office (Lee Hall)
  NOTE: Checks only: make it payable to “UMW in Bilbao-Spain”

• Final Payments for both programs are due by March 30, 2012 in the Cashier’s office (Lee Hall). Checks only: make it payable to “UMW in Bilbao-Spain”

Both programs include:

Tuition: up to 9 credits
Room & Board: Family Stay or Residence Hall
Guided excursions:

Three-day tour of Madrid, Segovia, Toledo
Bilbao : city tour and Guggenheim Museum
Gernika: city tour and Peace Museum
Pamplona & San Sebastian: city tours and excursion to the Running of the Bulls
Plentzia: Bay of Bizcay
Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve
Tour of San Mamés Soccer Stadium, home to the Athetic Club de Bilbao
Altamira Cave : Prehsitoric Paintings & Exhibition Center
Town of Santillana del Mar, & the city of Santander

Also included:

Medical insurance
Group airport transfers
UMW Residence Director and Faculty on site for academic and personal advisement
Use of study rooms, libraries, computer labs, email
Office of Student Assistance
ID Cards: ISIC and U of Deusto student cards
Exchange conversation program with Spanish students
