The Department of Psychological Science’s Experiential Learning major requirement may be fulfilled by completing 40 hours of Community Service Learning, obtaining an internship, participating in a research team (PSYC 491 and 492), or taking PSYC 322 – Mentoring Children at Risk. In selecting one of these options, students also meet the University of Mary Washington’s College of Arts and Sciences’ General Education Requirement for Experiential Learning.
