Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honor society
Every spring, the Department of Political Science and International Affairs inducts a number of its best students into Pi Sigma Alpha, the national honor society for political science.
Selection for membership in this 600-chapter academic honor society is based entirely upon classroom performance.
To be eligible, juniors and seniors must have successfully completed 12 upper-level semester hours of work in political science and international affairs with an overall GPA of 3.2 and a GPA of 3.2 in the 12 or more upper-level semester hours completed in political science courses within the major.
Invitations to join the honor society are mailed out every year after spring break. The 2010 induction ceremony will take place on Friday, April 9 at 4:00 in the Red Room.
