The 2016 Day Conference is aimed at both family member caregivers and professionals from within the local medical community.

The keynote speaker will be Rachael Wonderlin, an alumni of UMW (2011). She is author of the book When Someone You Know is Living in a Dementia Care Community: Words to Say and Things to Do, due to be released on Oct 9, 2016. Ms. Wonderlin is a gerontologist, dementia care expert, and popular dementia care blogger who helps caregivers cope with the difficult behaviors, emotions and anxieties that they and their loved one may experience. She will be available for book signing during the conference.
