Call for Student Abstracts for APT NYC 2013

APT is pleased to announce its Call for Student Abstracts for APT NYC 2013, taking place in Times Square from October 11-15, 2013.

Abstracts are due March 31, 2013.Job searching in this economy is still tough, but students who participate in the APT fall Conference Student Scholarships program will have an advantage, enjoying networking and access that is unparalleled in the preservation/conservation world. Many Student Scholars have met their future employers when their efforts were highlighted at a Conference. All you have to do is submit a 500-word abstract that summarizes your research or project that addresses an aspect of preservation/conservation technology, no later than March 31.

The selected students will be assigned a mentor in the APT College of Fellows, who will walk them through the oral presentation process required at the Conference and introduce them to other APT members. They will have their registration paid for, as well as receive a stipend for hotel and travel expenses to New York City, plus a one-year student membership to APT.
