Internships and independent study information
For students interested in completing a GIS Internship, please see the Independent Study and Internship Guidelines for the GIS Certificate Program.
To register for either the internship or independent study students must obtain a form from Dr Rizzo in the Geography Department or from the Sarah Monroe in Career Services.
For students interested in completing the capstone with an independent study, you must arrange to meet with Dr. Rizzo prior to the start of the semester. Enrollments for this course must be authorized by Dr Rizzo. Enrollment forms can be obtained from Dr Rizzo or at this link:
