Two awards
Application deadline is Friday of the first week after Spring Break.
The Helbush Scholarships will be awarded to two continuing students based upon academic achievement and financial need.
To apply:
• You must be an English major with at least 12 credits already earned in the major from the ELC Department;
• You must have a minimum of 2.5 overall G.P.A.;
• You must write a two-page essay about how the English major has influenced your intellectual life; please discuss as well how financial need plays a role in your application;

Submit the application form, the essay, and a Banner-generated transcript to the ELC Scholarship Committee chair, Dr. Ben LaBreche. Contact Professor Teresa Kennedy (540-654-1531) for more information.
