Are you interested in learning more about the ancient cultures of the Greeks and Romans? Or about gladiators and bloody wars?
The Classics Club is devoted to raising awareness of Classical Studies and the study of Greek and Roman civilizations. Through film screenings, lectures, meetings, t-shirts, and various events, we have fun learning about the past.
The Classics Club is open to all students interested in any aspect of the ancient world, whether or not they are enrolled in Classics courses or in Greek and Latin courses. The Club hosts an annual Certamen (a college-bowl style of competition about the ancient world) for local middle and high school students every spring, a book sale every fall, and more.
We are always on the lookout for innovative projects and great ideas from our members!
