Scholarships and Awards in Computer Science

 

  • Ralph A. Niemann Scholarship in Computer Science. A scholarship awarded on merit to a rising senior who is majoring in computer science.
  • Society for World-Wide Interbank Financial Telecommunications, Inc. (S.W.I.F.T.) Scholarships in Computer Science. Two scholarships awarded on merit to rising juniors who are majoring in computer science. Students who are residents of the counties of Culpeper, Rappahannock, Madison, Orange, Spotsylvania, and Fauquier, the City of Fredericksburg, or the northern Virginia area are given preference. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need.
  • Don and Kathleen Edwards Scholarship in Computer Science. A scholarship awarded to a declared major in computer science who is a resident of Virginia and has demonstrated academic excellence and demonstrated financial need.
  • Alumni Scholarship in Computer Science. A scholarship awarded to a rising junior or senior Computer Science major who has demonstrated excellence in Computer Science studies.
  • John William and Anne Hamilton Hudachek Scholarship in Computer Science.  A scholarship awarded to a rising junior student with a declared major in Computer Science.
