More about the Facilities

Central to the department are its computer facilities housed in James Farmer Hall. They provide students with 24/7 access for hands-on experiences that supplement most of the department’s course offerings. Students taking computer science classes have 24/7 access to two computer labs.  Faculty teach in classrooms equipped with a PC and a video projection system. The two student computer labs each have 25 seats. These labs are used for teaching classes as well as for general use by students.

Students are not required to purchase a personal computer. However, having one for regular academic work is beneficial.
