This Saturday, December 3rd, the ACM club is hosting a Hackathon from 9am-9pm in the HCC digital auditorium. This local hack day provides students the opportunity to work with their peers, make connections, and tackle challenging problems with real-world time constraints. Throughout the day, other students around the world will be simultaneously hosting their own Local Hack Day at their school, resulting in the single largest day of student hacking ever. Hackers may work individually, in previously formed teams or choose team members at the event. All UMW undergraduates are encouraged to attend!
During the event, there will be free food provided for each meal and prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best Overall, Most Creative, Best Rags-to-Riches, and Best Web-Based.
