Emerging Trends in Historic Preservation and Why They Matter

Linda Stevenson, the principal architect for Stevenson Architects, will be speaking on how the field of historic preservation needs to do in order to combat the environmental and social challenges that are facing our historic places and communities in the 21st century. I am investigating current trends in Historic Preservation and came across the announcement of a lecture you presented last year. Do you have a transcript of the lecture, published notes, or an article you might share with me?

In case you are interested, as a former architect, I was often caught in the nexus of preservation zeal and the conflicting demands of a changing economy and culture that makes so many building obsolete. Your talk may shed a little more light on the response of HP efforts today to meet these challenges.
