Information and Technology Requirements

Beginning in fall 2001 ending spring 2007, all BLS degree-seeking students must demonstrate proficiency with information technology prior to graduation.

Proficiency with information technology includes email, word processing, library and information literacy, and spreadsheets. Completion of this requirement and its components will be noted on the student’s transcript. This requirement does not involve additional credit hour expectations.The Center for Instructional Technology and staff of the Simpson Library are responsible for the administration and oversight of this requirement.
