Rosemary Jesionowski, Associate Professor of Studio Art, received her BFA with a concentration in Photography from Ohio University in 2002 and her MFA, also with a concentration in Photography, from Indiana University in 2005. She joined the UMW Studio Art faculty in 2008, where she teaches courses in Multiple Imaging (Photography, Printmaking, and Digital Media).
Professor Jesionowski is an active member of the Richmond art community and has shown at numerous galleries in Richmond (1708 Gallery, Page Bond Gallery, Art 6 Gallery, Art Space Gallery, and Main Art Gallery). She has also shown in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Bloomington (IN), Lake Charles (LA), Athens (OH), Cleveland (OH), Athens (GA), and Kalamazoo (MI). Her work is part of several private collections, including the Try-Me Collection.
